Long version:
Don't harass.
Harassment includes but is not limited to offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, harassing photography or recording without permission, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Participants who are asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately.
If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, the 0xCC organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a trainer, volunteers, or organisers immediately. Trainers, volunteers and organisers will be made known at the conference opening ceremony.
0xCC organisers will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment for the duration of the conference.
Attendees are expected to attend the full 2-days of training. Each trainer spends an incredible amount of their time developing and setting up their training courses for you and there are a significant amount of people on the waitlist for each course. No shows and ticket returns with less than seven days notice will not be tolerated and will result in the attendee's exclusion for the next 0xCC.
All participants, speakers, sponsors, trainers, volunteers and organisers are expected to follow these rules at 0xCC and 0xCC-related social events.
Violation of our code of conduct can result up to an indefinite ban from all 0xCC events and conferences.
